Kev and I want to go back to our happy place. A place far far away with nothing but serene silence. Ahhh Malfini Beach, Haiti.
August 16, 2010 "Ready for Swim Lessons"
The kids started their survival swim lessons today. In 4-6 weeks they should be able to flip over onto their back and float if they fall in a pool, as well as then swim-float-swim until they reach the side of the pool and can get out. Keegan was a little apprehensive, he didn't want to get his head wet. The instructor, Carmen, worked on floating with him today. He was able to stick the back of his head in the water at the end of the session. Keira worked on holding her breath and opening her eyes under water. She did great. It's a big project going to lessons every day and they have a very strict diet they have to stick to and I have to record everything they eat, pee, poop and sleep. So it's a big deal, but if it teaches them to be safe around a pool, it'll be worth it.

Yeah I did it!

Keira is looking a rinestones on Carmen's glove. She then puts the glove under the water and Keira has to open her eyes under the water so she can see the rinestones and touch the glove. She did it!
August 15, 2010 "A Sunday at the Beach"
This afternoon we took a trip to the beach. We had the whole beach to ourselves and the kids had a great time running in the waves and digging in the sand. I think we could all get use to this way of life.

August 13, 2010 "Becoming domesticated"
Keira received her second birthday present from Mommom and Poppop yesterday. A full service nursery center, complete with bath center, dining area, rocking cradle, working cabinets for all baby's necessities and a working baby monitor. The kids both love it and actually played together. Keegan mostly did the laundry and Keira cared for the babies. But it worked for them.
Keegan's washing baby's bibs, washcloths and Big Key, while Keira stocks the nursery cabinets.
