November 29, 2008 "Keegan watches the Grinch"

I told him to say "cheese"

This must have been a scary part of the movie

November 28, 2008 - Black Friday "Keegan and mommy ride Santa's train"

Keegan was afraid of the train and cried at first, but he warmed up to it as the ride went on.

November 27, 2008 "Happy Thanksgiving"

Keegan ate his first real thanksgiving dinner today. We were surprised to learn that his favorite thanksgiving day food was cranberry sauce. And as you can see below...pumpkin pie and whipped cream.

November 26, 2008 "Keira turns 5 months old"

November 26, 2008 "Love the slides"

Keegan braves the slides all by himself. He's such a big boy!

November 25, 2008 "A special day for all"

Today is a special day for a couple reasons. Aunt Christi celebrates her last year as a "twenty-somethin'" and Keira ate cereal for the first time. Keira also drank some of her milk from a sippy cup. Keegan was using a sippy cup by about 5 and a half months, but it was an annoying hard to clean cup. And it had a spout much like a bottle nipple. This is a real big-girl sippy cup. She has a little trouble controlling the faster flow, but she'll get it.
Do I have something on my face?

November 24, 2008 "Who doesn't love ketchup?"

Keegan and Keira want to wish their little cousin Ava a happy 4 month birthday!

November 23, 2008 "Footloose and 'binky' Free"

The Weekly Rewind
GOOD:
1. Keegan is officially one week free of his binky. He hasn't used it at all, not even to sleep.
2. Mommy got to hang out with the girls on Friday for lunch.
3. Keira rolled over.
BAD:
1. Despite the support of the "Terp mobile", the Terps got hammered on Saturday!
2. It was a boring weekend, the highlight was a trip to Target.
3. Keira's teething, so we're dealing with excessive drooling and crankiness.

November 21, 2008 "Keegan and Keira's Terp Mobile"

Mommy made custom stroller seat pads so Keegan and Keira could ride in comfort and support the Terps at the same time. Go Terps!

November 21, 2008 "A girls day out"

Mommy, Keira, Auntie Donna, Auntie Yami and Chase had a lunch date today. It was our first date since baby Chase and Keira were born. We had a really good time. Daddy and Keegan stayed at home and took a long afternoon nap.
Auntie Yami, baby Chase and Mommy
Baby Chase: 6 weeks old today

November 20, 2008 "Your wish is my command"

"I'm not amused...thanks manaze."

November 19, 2008

How do you like my outfit?

November 18, 2008 "just another day"

I wish you could here the sound he makes with this face. It's so cute. He goes "ooooooh"

November 17, 2008 "Keira rolls over"

"You want me to do what? Roll over by myself?"
"Keegan, don't help me, mom says I have to do it by myself"
"Oh, I think I've almost got it"
"Maybe, I should think about it a little more. Ok, here goes!"
"I did it!" "Now watch it live."

Keira is now a big girl. She rolled over today all by herself.

November 16, 2008 "The Weekly Rewind"

GOOD:
1. Mommy went to work on Saturday and had an easy day. Daddy and kids survived at home without her.
2. The weather has turned cool, which is a nice change of pace. It feels like fall.

BAD:
1. It was a long week. Mommy and kids spent most of the week at home, which led to cabin fever for all.
2. We missed the night launch of the space shuttle. There may not be another before the shuttle retires.
Keira finally returns Keegan's kisses
Will she be a soccer player?

November 14, 2008 "19 months old"

I can't believe my baby is 19 months old today. Time goes by so fast.

November 12, 2008 "Handy Manny Jammies"

Doesn't Keegan look so cute in his Mr. Huxtable jammies? He loves Handy Manny.

November 10, 2008 "edit"

I made a mistake in the the weekly rewind today. I listed Keegan's verbal expansion as a bad thing instead of a good thing. Usually, I can go into the individual blog and edit it, but today it wouldn't let me. So, the 2nd bad thing is that yesterday while digging in the garden, I unearthed a bunch of baby turtles that were buried in my flower bed. I thought they were dead, until one started to move around. I had never seen turtles like that before. they were the size of half dollars and you could see their little heads inside the shell. I dn't think I killed any of them. I put them all back in the hole and covered them. I'll have to keep my eye on them.

November 10, 2008 "The Weekly Rewind"

GOOD:
1. We put up our Christmas decorations. I know, a little early, right? But since we aren't going away for Christmas this year, we figured we'd enjoy getting to look at all the pretty lights a little longer than usual.
2. Keira is close to rolling over.
3. HOA meeting went well.

BAD:
1. Keira's starting to drool...excessively. Bring on the teeth.
2. Keegan's adding more words to his repertoire.
3. We took a bunch of Keegan and Keira's stuff to Goodwill. It's hard saying good-bye to their baby things.
