Good:
1. Keegan started – kind of saying Da-Da. As well he’s starting to kind of craw backwards. He is doing well. It just blows my mind how fast he is growing. Jen leaves the monitor near him when he takes an afternoon nap in our bed. He has figured out that if he bangs on it when he wakes up we’ll come. That is really impressive – at least to me.
2. I’ve got a lot done on B2’s room – considering my limited time. I painted the base-coat and put up two coats of yellow paint. I also ripped up the old carpet and foam. I forgot, I also picked up the floor boards and a power detail sander to help with the planks that don’t fit as well as we would like. I still have to lay the under layment, and make the under cuts – before my Dad arrives. I was looking for a nail gun to help the chair rail and base board go quicker. I had no idea that most of them are pneumatic. At Lowes they want ~$60 a day to rent the compressor and the gun! I’m not sure what I’m going to do. It wouldn’t be so bad except for the steel studs – they just make everything more difficult. I still need to do a little more research.
3. Jen got some good deals on some baby stuff at Target.
Bad:
1. Jen signed up to work this past Saturday. It went really well for her and us. We survived and she survived as well. It was actually nice for Keegan and I to spend the day together and I’m sure it was nice for Jen to get a little break too.
2. We are still supporting the customer with software support. Well the only person that we had supporting the customer quit. Her last day was last week. When we had our tele-con with the customer they ripped into us for slow rolling their support. Then the support was even worse when we lost our only person. We have a new person identified but he doesn’t know anything so this ought to continue to be interesting.
3. Keegan had a couple fussy moments this week. He got his top front tooth and the other is getting close to pushing through. I’m sure this contributed to his discomfort.
